A Humble Beginning to Serve the Deserving

      A few educated and kind hearted Minority Christian Ladies and gentlemen of Hubli thought of a plan to help the youth by heartening them through technical education.  As a result was the registration of Mitra Charitable Trust. The chief objective of the trust is to uplift the poor, downtrodden and marginalized sections of society, irrespective of caste and creed. To materialize this dream, trustees decided to take up the responsibility to establish a technical institution. As a result St. John's Polytechnic was started in 1992. This institution is approved by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt .of Karnataka, & All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, India.
